Pimento Cheese

Yes it’s worth the effort, easy to make and unlike store brands you know whats in it.

Ingredients:

  • 2  cups sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 8oz Package Cream Cheese (room temp)
  •  1/2 cup mayonnaise (prefer Dukes, Hellman’s is ok)
  • 4oz  (small can) pimento peppers (drained, chopped)
  • 5 or more Pickled Jalapeno slices  (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp Jalapeno Pickle Juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt tast and rebalance
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne (to taste)

Mix ingredients in a bowl and serve on toasted baguette slices or crackers. If you don’t want the heat substitute sliced green onion for the jalapeno and add a couple dashes Worcestershire  sauce.
